Different words, not converted characters.
Trash is 回收站 in mainland China and 垃圾桶 in Taiwan. New Folder is 新建文件夹 and 新增資料夾. A character converter would miss both.
One word, one meaning.
On a Mac in Taiwan, 還原 already means Undo. So restoring a file from the Trash reads 放回原處, “put back”, and one word never means two things.
Words that follow the system.
Undo is 還原 on macOS and 復原 on Windows. Copy is 拷貝 and 複製; Help is 輔助說明 and 說明. The app speaks the language of the computer it runs on.
